  • Workshop I
    Financing Small Business

Financing is one of the great conundrums of entrepreneurship. Income uncertainty and lack of well-established credit are common potential trends during the initial years of any new business. Despite its shortcomings, every small business needs to facilitate a revenue system and a solid presence by investing in key essentials elements. Finding a traditional lender who will take an approximate chance on your company could be a difficult task. Which is why many startups are looking into alternative financing options, such as, peer-to-peer lending and online pawn shops.

Are you aware of all the available sources of capital around you?

  • Workshop II
Social Media Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Small Business

Social media marketing is an art form that all ambitious business owners should master by utilizing the right social media marketing solution. Social media platforms offer unique marketing tools Twitter targeted ads, Facebook Pages, Google+, Local and Pinterest Promoted Pins, to name a few. Social media marketing solutions stream line the process while helping businesses avoid alienating followers. Previous techniques of constantly pushing advertisements and sales copies no longer work on today's increasingly social-media-savvy consumers. Consequently, businesses need to learn and practice a more strategic relationship building approach. Grow your business using best outreach methods available on social media!

  • Workshop III
Small Business Incentives & Opportunities By Local & State Governments

Learn about how and where to look for business incentives and opportunities in your region. Small business owners are motivated by economic incentives which also shape entrepreneurs' approach to business. County and State representatives will share key business initiatives and programs offered to small business owners. For small business owners, needs, wants and desires are considered as preferences. In contrast, economic incentives fuel motivation to pursue desired preferences. County-wide business opportunities will be presented by panelists. Be informed and remain up-to-date on government incentive initiatives!
